Terms & Conditions — Mintex Travel

Last updated: 24 January 2026

  1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Mintex Travel Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

  1. Booking & Payment

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change until confirmed.

  1. Agency Status

Mintex Travel acts solely as an agent for third-party travel suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, tour operators, cruise lines, and accommodation providers. Your contract for travel services is directly with the relevant supplier(s), not with Mintex Travel.

  1. ATOL Protection

Where you purchase an ATOL-protected flight or flight-inclusive package, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This outlines what is protected and who to contact if issues arise. Mintex Travel acts as an agent for ATOL-protected suppliers, and protection applies to the supplier, not Mintex Travel.

  1. Supplier Responsibility

All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier. The supplier is responsible for the provision of services, including delays, cancellations, and service quality.

  1. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms vary depending on the supplier.

  • Cancellation terms vary depending on the supplier (airlines, hotels, cruise providers).
  • If you cancel, charges may apply up to 100% of the booking cost.
  • Any deposits paid may be non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
  • We may charge an administrative fee for processing cancellations.
  1. No-Show Policy

Failure to travel without prior cancellation will be treated as a no-show. No refunds will be provided unless permitted by the supplier. You may still be liable for the full booking cost.

  1. Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to supplier terms. We do not guarantee refunds for non-refundable bookings. Refunds will only be processed once received from the supplier. Administrative fees may apply.

  1. Amendments

Changes to bookings may be subject to availability and supplier terms. Supplier Fees may apply. Our Standard Amendment fee is £75 per booking.

  1. Payment Handling

Where Mintex Travel collects payment, this is done on behalf of the supplier. Acceptance of payment does not create a contractual relationship with Mintex Travel for the delivery of services. Payment is 100% protected and held in a Trust account.

  1. Travel Documentation

Customers are responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, and travel documents. Please check the government website for the latest entry guidance by visiting https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

  1. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Mintex Travel Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party suppliers.

  1. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our control including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions,  acts of war or airline disruptions.

  1. Chargebacks & Disputes

Customers must contact us first to resolve any issue. Unjustified chargebacks may result in recovery action.

  1. Complaints
